Mogo zoo, now known as Mogo Wildlife Park, is on the NSW South Coast. It's a privately run zoo and has been open for 30 years.
It's been a favourite for my family, especially my children (and, frankly, me) and I've often taken my camera there to capture the exotic and endangered animals cared for by the zoo.
At the end of 2019, the zoo was endangered itself by a fire (one of the many which burned large swathes of south eastern Australia that summer) which engulfed some of the township of Mogo. Some of the town and the zoo were saved.
