Taking a ride in a hot air balloon is magical, especially on a perfect Canberra day.

It is calm because you are moving with the wind, not against it, and even for people like me who have a long-standing fear of heights, it's not scary at all.

You see a different world; a new view of a place you might know very well, or not at all.

If you get the opportunity, I highly recommend getting up, up and away.
